Bible presented by George Jäger to his son
This is the flyleaf of a morocco bound family bible given to George Jäger Junior on the occasion of his first marriage.
"Presented this Book of God to George and Drusilla Jager upon the occation of their marriage,
with an earnest recommendation that you will at least read therewith one Chapter out of the Old
and one Chapter out of the New Testament every day and my Prayer is that you may find Christ Jesus the Lord
the Feast (?) of Great Grace to your eternal Joy that when your days are run out upon the Earth
you may enter into His Glory with all His Saints.
